At 0224 hrs in the morning, units from Westminster and surrounding companies were alerted for a reported House Fire on Barnes Avenue. Units arrived with fire showing from the Charlie Side deck area with fire into the house and through the roof. The Rapid Intervention Dispatch was requested as well as a Tanker Task Force. E92 arrived shortly after E33 and supplied them with water and assisted with extinguishment. Units initially operated in a defensive mode due to extensive fire conditions but switched to an offensive mode when the bulk of the fire was knocked down. RS9 and E91 arrived and initially assumed RIT but were reassigned later in the incident to assist with extinguishment and overhaul. Units from Reese operated on the scene for approximately 3 hours before going in service. M99 was on scene performing Rehab.
