Industrial Park Vehicle Fire

At approximately 2300 hours, station 9 was alerted for the vehicle fire. Engine 92 responded with 3 and Engine 134 also responded. While en route, dispatch advised Engine 92 that they had received several calls that the car was burning next to an oil tank.

Engine 92 arrived to find the automobile fully involved approximately ten feet from an oil tank and commercial building. The crew from 92 make a quick offensive attack pushing the fire away from the building and tank. Engine 134 arrived shortly after the attack was commenced and assisted the crew from 92.

A quick knock was made and the units operated on the scene for approximately 30 minutes for clean up.
