At 1611 hrs Box 6-12 was alerted for the House Fire on Pinch Valley Road. Chief 9-1 (Mi. Knight) was in the area and responded as Command Support. Chief 9-1 arrived to find smoke showing from a 1 story single family dwelling and established Pinch Valley Road Command. During a 360 Chief 9-1 found fire showing from the basement. Shortly after E63 arrived and stretched a line to the basement for extinguishment. E33 arrived and stretched a 2nd line to 1st floor to keep the fire from extending. Crews held the fire to 2 rooms in the basement although there was significant smoke damage throughout the home. Red Cross was requested for 7 adults.

E92, E91, and RS9 responded and operated for approx. 3 hours before going in service. Chief 9-1 maintained Command until Captain 6 took Command during the deescalation of the incident. Great job by all crews.
