On Saturday March 27, 2021 at 12:38 p.m. Reese and Community Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a brush fire at the base of the cell tower on Deer Park Road.

At the time this incident occurred, RVFC Members were escorting the Easter Bunny- so that detail had to stop so that the apparatus- Engine Tanker 94, Brush 95, Car 9, Medic 98, and mutual aid from Gamber and Westminster could assist Reese VFC with the large brush fire.
