FIRE AT AUTO DEALERSHIP

On Wednesday evening around 6:30 p.m., units were alerted for fire coming from the roof of an auto dealership in the 3200 blk. of Baltimore Blvd. Chief 9 arrived to find fire on the side of the building near the roof line in the vicinity of the ventilation system. Provided with the information that roofers had heated a new roof seam together just hours earlier it was concluded that they overheated some wooden lathes and fascia which ignited and burned on the outside. After crews removed parts of the fascia and ventilation system, and wet down with a water extinguisher, it was determined that there was no further extension or damage. Units cleared at 7:15 p.m.
