On Sunday, June 5, 2022, members from across the Maryland Fire Service gathered in Annapolis to honor ten of our fallen brothers and sisters during the Maryland Fire-Rescue Services Memorial Foundation Fallen Firefighter Memorial Service.

This year, one of our own was added to the Memorial Wall as we again gathered to honor and remember our friend and colleague Robert A. "Bobby" Jones who died while serving the citizens of Carroll County on January 20, 2022. Reese VFC Chief Andrew Wooden escorted Bobby's family as they were presented the framed Maryland flag and a memorial certificate honoring Bobby.
