| Reese, MD — January 7, 2026 — Reese Volunteer Fire Company (VFC) welcomed community members on Wednesday evening for its first Community CPR & First Aid class of 2026, continuing its commitment to public safety education and community preparedness. Nine local residents attended the free class, where they received hands-on instruction in lifesaving skills and earned American Heart Association CPR & First Aid certification. The training focused on recognizing emergencies, performing CPR, using an AED, and providing immediate care until first responders arrive. These classes are about empowering our neighbors. When community members know how to respond in an emergency, lives can be saved before help ever arrives Reese VFC offers free CPR & First Aid classes on the first Wednesday of every month, reinforcing the department’s mission to serve not only in emergencies, but through education and prevention. Community members interested in attending a future class are encouraged to follow Reese VFC on social media or visit the company’s website for upcoming dates and registration information. |
