Schools are closed today, and cleanup is underway across our community following the recent snowstorm.

As you begin clearing snow from your property, we’d like to share a few important safety reminders:

🧹 During Snow Removal:

• Take frequent breaks and avoid overexertion
• Push snow when possible instead of lifting
• Stay hydrated
• Watch for icy patches beneath the snow

Cold temperatures and heavy snow can quickly lead to strain or injury. If you begin feeling chest pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath, stop immediately and seek medical attention.

Please ensure the following areas are cleared:

• Sidewalks in front of homes and businesses
• Entrances and walkways for emergency access
• Driveways wide enough for emergency vehicles
• Fire hydrants near your property

Clearing snow around fire hydrants can save valuable time during an emergency. A good rule of thumb is to clear at least three feet around the hydrant and a path to the street.

We appreciate our community working together to keep Reese safe and accessible.
