Local Alarm 13-1

On the afternoon of April 15th, Brush 95 was alerted to assist Station 13 units with reported "Leaves on Fire". As Brush 95 approached the scene, heavy smoke in the woods could be seen from Route 32. Brush 95 was advised to follow Brush 136 down a power easement to make access to the fire. Brush 95 assisted with containing about a 2 acre blaze. Crews remained on the scene for approximately two hours making a fire line, cutting trees, and hitting hot spots.
