It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Life Member/Past President Edwin N. 'Stump' Selby. Our deepest condolences to the Selby family.

A CELEBRATION OF 'STUMP'S' LIFE WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, MAY 30TH AT 1:00 P.M. AT PIPE CREEK CEMETERY OUTSIDE OF UNIONTOWN, MARYLAND

Obituary for Edwin N. "Stump" Selby

Edwin Newton 'Stump' Selby, 86, of Westminster, died March 9, 2015 at Longview Nursing Home in Manchester.
Born November 15, 1928 in New Windsor, he was the son of the late Phillip Edward and Annie Stitely Selby. He was the husband of the late Margaret Virginia 'Jenny' Selby, who died June 3, 2013. Ed was employed by BGE from 1953 until his retirement in 1991. He served in the Army during the Korean War after graduation from New Windsor High School. He was a life member of the Reese and Community Volunteer Fire Department and had served as President. He also coached his sons in Little League Baseball.
Surviving are son Michael E. Selby of Vineland, NJ; son and daughter-in-law Timothy B. and Mari Selby of Westminster; son Jamie C.P. Selby of The Colony, TX; son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey D. and Bonnie Selby of Hanover, PA; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister Doris Whitney, brothers Charles Selby, and Frank Selby.
Services and interment will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to Reese and Community Volunteer Fire Department, 1745 Baltimore Blvd., Westminster, MD 21157.
