May 29, 2008

If you are looking for family friendly entertainment this weekend, be sure to check out Chesapeake Antique Fire Apparatus Association's 2008 Spring Muster. It will be held at the Carroll County Farm Museum in Westminster, Maryland on Saturday, May 31st. Starting at 9:00am Rain or Shine.

If you attend, make sure to stop by and say hello to Reese Member's Bob and Betsy Alexander with their 1934 Seagrave Suburbanite and 1953 Seagrave 500/530 V12-530 and Reese Member Norman Schaeffer with his "former" Reese pumper Brush 95.

As always, there will be a full array of activities including a Parade, Drafting by the lake and Pumping Contests. This year, CAFAA will be paying tribute to American LaFrance apparatus. All ALF owners are invited to bring their rigs to the muster. Also, there will be a Flea Market with several vendors set up selling fire related memorabilia. There will be food and drinks available on-site.
